The flag is horizontally divided yellow on red. In the yellow stripe is placed a poppy plant surrounded by a white horseshoe. In the red stripe is placed a modern canon.

"The shield per fess by or and gules. In the top field is a gules thin-leaves peon flower (voronets') in an argent horseshoe. In the bottom field is an argent gun. The arms is edged by decorative cartouche and decorated by a rural crown.
It is one of two Ukrainian regions where grows a relic plant - a thin-leaves peony (voronets'). A horseshoe is a sign on success. A gun is a symbol that in village during some months of the Second World war was headquarter of 62nd army."
