Coat of Arms

"Shield per fess by argent wavy barrulet on or and azure. In the first field is a sable horse. In the second field is an or birch branch with three leaves. The arms is edged by decorative cartouche and decorated by a rural crown.
Horse is a symbol of the fairs well-known in due time, and also an attribute of a legend about woman Oksana who prepered holiday biscuits as horses and sold it. Sable and ordinary-looking kind of a horse symbolize modesty of applicability. It is the working animal, intended to process the ground. The branch is a symbol of the neighboring village Berestove name, the barrulet means Pischanka river."

The Village

"The village was found after others. The reason became a horse. In rain weather it has got stuck on road, and cossack Nikol's'kyi who wanted to lodge in a large village Pischane, has decided to not go to it, and has built the house on a place where has stopped. Later it is known for fairs on which traded in horses."
