Coat of Arms

from Ukrainian Heraldry website

"Shield per fess by azure and gules. In the first field is or church. In the second field are or musket by a barrel upwards and a sabre an edge from top to bottom in cross, accompanied by a cossack cap at the top. On the sides of a shield are argent barrulet pales. The arms is edged by decorative cartouche and decorated by a rural crown.
Church is memory of those who has managed to keep a local temple in days of struggle against religion. A musket and a sabre are symbols of the first settlers which asserted the paternal house with the weapon. Wavy pales are sign of small rivers: Oskol, Synyha, Sen'ka. A cossack cap reminds that founders of village were cossacks."
