"The modern emblem represents in the upper part of a per fess shield is the or trident above an argent tower and the vert field with azure river; in the lower part - three argent doves are flying in an azure field. The two doves are in chief and one of them is in base. The doves are holding in the beaks small vert branches."

"For the first time it was mentioned as the village of Mits'ko. According to a legend connected with the town, princess Olga when being in Radomyshl' burnt the town of Korosten' down. She tired burning oakum to the feet of the doves. In that way she wanted to take revenge on the death of prince Igor."
