Description of the Flag

A photo of the flag and a black and white version of the city seal can be found at www.cityofapalachicola.com/. The flag is white with a modified city seal on it. The anchor on the flag is slightly different and the word "FLORIDA" on the seal, on the flag is replaced by the year "1831".

About the city:
"Apalachicola is a city in Franklin County, Florida on US 98 about 80 miles southwest of Tallahassee. The population was 2,334 at the 2000 census. The 2005 census estimates gave the city at 2,340. Apalachicola is the county seat of Franklin County."
