Description of the Flag

"Miami Shores is a small, residential community located in Northeast Miami-Dade County, Florida. Incorporated in 1932, the Village has maintained its "hometown" atmosphere, while nestled in the larger metropolitan Miami area." [http://www.miamishoresvillage.com/index1.html]
The village flag is shown on the village website [2]. It is white with a black emblem made of a landscape of the village (houses, palm trees, sun), surmounted by MIAMI SHORES / INC. 1932 and surmounting VIVENTES IN SOLE (Latin, living in the sun) / VILLAGE.
