White background with top red and bottom blue stripes and wider golden stripe along the middle, fimbriated black and with the words "Mahaska" and "County" on it in black sans serif capitals. On the middle stripe, between the two words, a large disc (diam.~=1/2h) with a wide dark red border and on it a line art assortment of local landmarks on a golden base with a black fimbriation and the word "Iowa" set as in black sans serif capitals.
