Polk County is known to have a flag, but the details are unavailable.

I used to live near Des Moines, Iowa, and I recalled seeing the county flag on display at what was then called (early 2000s) the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. After some searching around, I did find a smallish image of the flag.
On a gray field, two horizontal and parallel horn-shaped devices, flared at the hoist, blue over orange, with the area between the horns in yellow. I do not have any idea what the symbolism is, and suspect it is a design from the 1970s or so.
