Danville is in Center Township, Hendricks County, Indiana, United States. The population was 6,418 at the 2000 census. The town is the county seat of very rapidly growing Hendricks County and is estimated to have a population of 7,827 in July 2006. - from Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danville,_Indiana, which also gives a brief history of the town.
I found a photo of the town flag here: http://www2.indystar.com/autofocus/photos/show/48985/1 (no longer available).
The flag has a seal on it, which is different from the logo shown on the town website: www.danvilleindiana.org/
