Havre de Grace is located in northeastern Maryland in Harford County at the confluence of the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay. It is a small historically rich city beautifully situated on the banks of the Susquehanna River. Havre de Grace is truly unique, in that it has maintained its small town feel and charm while being so closely located and accessible to the major cultural and business centers of the Mid-Atlantic region.
Incorporated as a Town in 1785 and almost voted the Capital of the United States by the U.S. Congress. The City is rich with history and tradition and known far and wide for being a thriving commercial port; having excellent fishing and
waterfowl hunting; decoy carving; and previously having a horse racing track, to mention a few.

Here is what I received from Havre de Grace city, Maryland :
"F.W.Haxel
produced our first order for flags in June 1998. They told me they received
original art work from Cindy Height around the end of May 1998." - from
Jim Newby from the City Administration.
