Description of the flag

The city of Flint responded to my inquiry: "We do not have any resources that specify an official flag for the City of Flint. We were told by Former Mayor James Rutherford that he designed an unofficial flag during his first term as mayor beginning in 1975. It was later redesigned during the 1990s by Former Mayor Woodrow Stanley. We have not been able to locate a digital image a past or present version of the flag." - Team Librarian, Flint Public Library.

I have seen the flag flying in front of the City Offices. Flint's flag is azure (very light Blue B--) field with argent (white) "Flint" in script. I have also seen it with a purpure (purple) field with a different (smaller) size and ratio I believe in front of a hotel that the City's Downtown Development Authority controlled the flag poles. It has since disappeared.
