The flag is 3:5 featuring a white central area limited above and below by two pale blue shapes, separated by curved lines, the upper one a very wide, asymmetrical arc, the lower made of two arcs, also asymmetrical; the white area meets the edges of the fly at mid fly, hoist-side bottom and lower hoist. Centered on the fly half, inside the white area, there is the city seal/logo in pale blue on white.
The city seal was kept from the previous flag, with only the text changed from "Blue Ash, Ohio" over "City of choice", on the previous flag, to "City of" over "Blue Ash, Ohio"; these inscription in sans-serif capitals. The seal/logo includes a tree, which might be a canting element for Fraxinus quadrangulata.
