Description of the flag

A red swallowtail flag with the city seal, consisting of an outer black rim with the city name and slogan (City of Opportunity) and year 1955 in gold. Inside on a white disk are four intermeshed cogwheels, each with a different central color (red, green, light blue, dark blue), and objects relevant to the local economy. Brookville is in Butler County.
