The flag of Montgomery County, Virginia has the county seal in white on a blue field. The seal is placed between two red trapezoids. Within the circle of the seal is an outline of the county itself. Within the outline are (clockwise from upper left) a buck's head, a musket and in the background that is an Indian Fort, a log cabin and Burruss Hall - the main administration building of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (aka Virginia Tech). Above the seal are the words in white "MONTGOMERY COUNTY", and below are the words in white "Freedom Increases Responsibility". At the base of the seal is the word "Virginia", and on the sides the dates "1776" and "1976." It's an interesting variation on the typical LOB design.
