The Wisconsin Clean Marina programme is up and running, witness the website: www.wisconsincleanmarina.org.
"The Wisconsin Clean Marina Program promotes and celebrates voluntary adoption of measures to reduce pollution from marinas, boatyards and recreational boats. The purpose is to ensure clean water and protect fish and wildlife. (...) Facilities that adopt the program recommended practices may become certified as Wisconsin Clean Marinas and receive free publicity as environmentally responsible businesses."
The flag is a striking exterior sign of a clean marina (a pennant is not mentioned) and as usual, it bears the relevant logo – see previous webpage: two turquoise stylized waves partially hide a sky blue steering wheel, four spokes of which are visible; underneath is the name "WISCONSIN / CLEAN MARINA" left and right aligned, the first line turquoise, the second one sky blue.
Although the logo proper has a tendency to darken towards the right, when placed on a flag it is white, as is the name (large clickable photo) www.racineyachtclub.org/images/NewsPics/Green%20Marina.jpg
