Description of the flag

This is an official flag of Boise State University, Boise, Idaho (UD), whose athletic teams are known as the Broncos, a name which is reflected in the striking image of the horse's head on the flag. Boise State University is located in Boise, Idaho, and is the third largest public institution of tertiary education in the state. In recent years the university has become a major college football power, and it is therefore not surprising that the College Merchandise Company, one of the leading manufacturers of collegiate symbols and emblems in the US, should have developed a flag for Boise State University.
