Description of the flag

From www.isu.edu/newsandnotes...:

"A new Idaho State University flag now flies along with the U.S. and Idaho flags on Hutchinson Quadrangle just outside the administration building. The ISU flag is a new identifier for the university. ISU also will be able to unilaterally raise and lower its own flag in response to events that are particularly pertinent to the university and the local community. The U.S. and Idaho flags had previously flown on poles that stood amid tall conifers adjacent to the administration building, but the flags would often flap into the trees' branches on windy days. (ISU Photographic Services)."
The "identity mark" and seal are presented on www.isu.edu/urelate/identity_mark_usage_guide.pdf, including Pantone information on the colors (orange, purple, black) whereas the flag has orange, black, and white.

The flag has an orange field horizontally edged in black (outer) and white (inner), the black stripe being much broader than the white one; in the center, the words 'IDAHO STATE' thinly underlined and 'UNIVERSITY' underneath.

A sports counterpart exists: www.collegeflagsandbanners.com representing the "Idaho State Bengals". It is an orange flag with the words BENGALS and IDAHO STATE above tiger's face.
