Compañia Anonima Maritima Oceanica Granela commenced in 1983
with its last ship traced as sold 1999. However it was involved
in the joint venture Venbulk together with Biederman GmbH which
was still trading in 2004 but currently there is no trace.

Here is the original
Nüsse image in question showing the panel in better detail and
which is probably the original flag with the Brown version with
its stylised logo presumably replacing it. I do not know when,
but the logo certainly appears on their website <www.lagoven.net>
whilst the company itself is a subsidiary of the state
owned Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. [PDVSA] and originated 1/1976
to take over the nationalised local assets of Exxon and has
survived various restructurings which saw most of its fellow
subsidiaries disappear.
Originally it had a fleet of tugs and chemical tankers but these
were transferred in 1992 to a new associate company, PDV Marina
S.A.
Lagoven does still have a shipping context with a fleet of
pontoons and crew/supply vessels.
Maraven S.A. for which the flag is next given is a similar
associate but with a fleet of pontoons and platforms.
I doubt if there is much flag flying done by either. PDV Marina
S.A. is more likely but whilst I have their funnel design a flag
has not appeared to date.
