The Band

Jamul Indian Village (jamulindianvillage.com) is a home to the Tipai Indian Tribe, part of Kumeyaay (DiegueƱo) Nation.
Present population is 51 on 6 acres reservation.
Tribal Chairmen: Kenneth A.Meza
Federally recognized since 1981.

Jamul Indian Village is located amongst the rolling hills about 20 miles NE of downtown San Diego.

The tribe is engaged currently in a bitter dispute with the residents of the town of Jamul concerning the plans for the development of the large casino and resort complex.

I obtained the black and white image of the flag from the Tribal Government office (13910 Lyons Valley Road, Jamul, CA 91935) and converted it (more or less skillfully) into a color drawing of it for your consideration.
