Description of the flag

The flag of the Town of Aylmer, Ontario, has the following description:

"The flag has a white diagonal band proceeding from the left upper corner to right lower corner, creating a right-angled triangle in the upper right and lower left sections. The upper right triangle is gold and the lower left triangle is red. The official crest with the motto "Pride and Progress" in black lettering is centered on the flag with the chough extending into the gold triangle and the motto and the lower portion of the shield extending into the red triangle. The words "Aylmer Ontario" are printed in the right lower portion of the white section." Information and image of the flag (black and white). The flag was adopted by the Town Council Resolution on 26.03.1990.
