Description of coat of arms:
In a black shield are two silver (= white) keys crossed per saltire.
Meaning:
Burladingen had been a dominion of the Zollern kin since the 13th century and seat of a district (Amt) since the 16th century The oldest known seal of Burladingen from 1534 shows the quartered shield of the (Hohen-)Zollern family. The keys first appear on the arms of Burladingen in 1702. They had been a local symbol. The tinctures were fixed in 1932.
