Jemgum Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a green shield is a Dutch windmill, surrounded by five 6-point stars on the left side, five on the right side and one above. The base is divided by a fess wavy. All charges are golden (= yellow).
Meaning:
The fess wavy is symbolizing the Dollart Bay. Each star is representing one settlement core. The mill is alluding to numerous windmills used for draining the polders. The arms were designed by Ebo Pannenborg.
