Description of banner:
It is an blue - orange - blue horizontal triband. Though in the document of approval there is just said orange edged by narrow blue stripes, the ratio of the image in source is 1:5:1.

Description of coat of arms:
It is a so called French shield topped by a silver(=white) mural crown. In the blue shield is a standing golden(=yellow) wolf tongued red.
Meaning:
According to source the arms are derived from the image of a seal from 15th century. The meaning of the wolf is not known. The colours blue and golden however are those of the former rulers, the counts of Nassau.
