The municipality of Barcial del Barco (280 inhabitants in 2009; 1,901 ha) is located in the northeast of Zamora Province, 50 km from Zamora.

Symbols of Barcial del Barco

The flag and arms of Barcial del Barco are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 6 March 2001 by the Municipal Council, signed on 15 March 2001 by the Mayor, and published on 2 April 2001 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 66, p. 5,464 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of five wavy horizontal stripes with proportions 1:6, 1:6, 1:3, 1:6 and 1:6, the outer stripes green, the intermediate stripes yellow and the central stripe blue.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1a. Gules a palm or, 1b. Or a garb of wheat vert, 2. Argent two fesses wavy azure. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
