Symbols of Gema

The flag and arms of Gema are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 29 April 2003 by the Municipal Council, signed on 5 May 2003 by the Mayor, and published on 14 May 2003 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 90, p. 7,051 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag, with proportions 1:1, made of three horizontal stripes with proportions 1:4, 1:2 and 1:4, the outer stripes red and the central stripe white with a green grapevine leaf.
Coat of arms: Gules a three-arched bridge argent masoned sable ensigned dexter with a castle or masoned sable port and windows azure and sinister with a grapevine leaf or. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
