The symbols of Sveti Lovreč are prescribed by Decision Statutarna odluka o grbu i zastavi Općine Sveti Lorenč, adopted on 30 December 2005 by the Municipality Assembly and expected to be published in the official gazette of the Town of Poreč Službeni glasnik Grada Poreča, which, apparently, never happened.
The symbols were approved on 3 May 2006 by the Central State Office for Administration.
The symbols are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut općine Sveti Lorenč (text), adopted on 16 July 2009 and published on 20 August 2009 in the County official gazette Službene novine Istarske županije, No. 7.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.
The flag is described in the Statutes as in proportions 1:2, light blue with the coat of arms, bordered with a golden yellow line, in the middle of the flag at the crossing point of the flag's diagonals, on both sides of the flag.
