The municipality of Brodski Stupnik (3,528 inhabitants in 2001, 1,722 in the village of Brodski Stupnik) is located some 15 km west of Slavonski Brod.

Flag of Brodski Stupnik

The symbols of Brodski Stupnik are prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi općine Brodski Stupnik, adopted on 23 April 1998 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 24 June 1998 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Brodsko-posavske županije, No. 5.
The symbols are described in Article 4 of the Municipality Statutes Statut općine Brodski Stupnik, adopted on 1 July 2009 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 9 July 2009 in Službeni vjesnik Brodsko-Posavske županije, No. 8, repeating the previous Statutes Statut općine Brodski Stupnik, adopted on 1 October 2001 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 31 October 2001 in Službeni vjesnik Brodsko-Posavske županije, No. 10.

The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, golden-yellow with the coat of arms in the middle. The height of the coat of arms is 2/3 of the flag's width.

The coat of arms is "Gules a column argent entwined with a vine branch with two leaves vert and two bunches of grapes or".
The arms are canting, stup meaning "a column" in Croatian.
