The ward symbol mark was adopted in Feb 1990.
The white flag has a blueish green color symbol mark in the center.
The symbol mark is a stylized A of Atsubetsu.
The left triangle symbolizes the form of the ward,
the center two white lines do the river and the right part does
a bird which represents the ward’s advance.
The blueish green color stands for the fresh ward and the rich green nature.

The flag of the former village of Atsuta was purple with mark. The village is
now, from 2005, part of the city of Ishikari.

The city emblem was adopted on May 1st 1952
but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a red city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized hiragana ち Chi of Chitose in a form
o f an airplane symbolizing Hokkaido airport.
It represents an image of the growing city with Mt.Tarumae,
Lake Shikotsu and Osatsu Plain.

The ward symbol mark was adopted in Apr 1975. The white flag has a green and
an orange ward symbol mark in the center. The green curved line symbolizes the
ward surrounded by green trees and the ward people’s concord and the orange
cross does the streetscape following a grid pattern and the vogour of the young
ward. The white color stands for the clean ward.

The city emblem was adopted on Oct 24th 1924 and the flag
was adopted on May 25th 1968 by Notice No 10.
The white flag has a blue city emblem and two light blue arcs.
The city emblem depicts the former army’s star emblem in the center
surrounded by five stylized katakana エ E of Ebetsu in the circle.
The star stands for an ex-legionary who developed the city
and the circle for diligent labors and five エ for a concord.
The arcs surrounding the city emblem represent the citizen.
The blue color stands for forefathers tradition and patience,
the light blue color for River Ishikari and a clesr sky and
the white color for snow and a cleanliness of the city administration.
The flag proportion is 2: 3.

but there is no flag law.
The green flag has a yellow and a white two color city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a combination of a stylized kanji 恵 E of Eniwa
and two rings= Wa symbolizing two rivers in the city.

The purple flag has a yellow and a white two color city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized hiragana ひ Hi of kita Hiroshima.
The three rings symbolize ripples and the outer triangle does the city’s unlimited development.
The flag proportion is 2: 3.
The diameter of the emblem is 10/14 height of the flag.

The symbol mark was adopted in Nov 1997.
The white flag has an orange, a green, a blue and a white color symbol mark.
The symbol mark is a stylized K of Kiyota with a big tree and
River Atsubetsu.
The orange color stands for the stabilization and the harmony

The city flag was adopted on November 3rd 1964. The white flag charged with the city emblem and
a snow crystal. The flag proportion's proportion is 2:3.
The yellowish green represents a lively green forest and green bud lays the rich crops.
The light blue stands for the clear high sky and the endless unknown world, the white
for snow.
The six sides of hexagon symbolizes the six items of the citizen's Charter.
The circle inside represents kanji 札 Sa and katakana ロ simultaneously.
The central star represents Northern represents will and katakana ホ HO is associated with the
Great Bear.
