The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 27th 2006. The white flag has a blue, a green and a white three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is stylized O,M and T of OMiTama. Three curved lines symbolize a merger of former three towns and village. It represents an unlimited improvement and development of the city and an image of the bright citizen who holds hands each other to deepen exchanges in a rich green and nature of Kasumigaura Lake. The flag proportion is 2: 3. The height of the emblem is 3/5 of the height of the flag.
