The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 5th 2006 by Notice No 246.
The white flag has a red, a blue, a light blue three color city emblem in the
center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana フカヤ Fukaya. The red disc
symbolizes an image of the city which makes a great leap forward to the future
where there are always smiles and a vigor. The flag proportion is 2:3.
