Nozomi Kariyasu, 22 November 2005, amended 20 October 2006

Adopted by Notice No. 49. The emblem was adopted on 18 September 1933, Notice No 70. Although I didn't find this written anywhere, the emblem has a stylised kanji kawa (river), forming a circle around a stylised kanji guchi (mouth, entrance).

The flag of the City of Kawaguchi is already reported but I do new image of flag more yellowish. (Maybe I didn't need to draw a new flag for Kawaguchi.)
City of Kawaguchi absorbed city of Hatogaya on 2011.
