The white flag with blue emblem used since 1955 was abolished. The new emblem
was adopted on Nov 21st 2010 by Notice No387 and the new flag was adopted on Dec
6th 2010 by Notice No 405. The white flag has a blue, a green and an orange
three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 加 Ka
of Kazo. The four curved lines symbolize the former one city and three towns and
the center part does an image of bright and vivid citizen. The blue color stands
for rich rivers, the green color for the fields and the orange color for a great
cultural heritage of the city. The circle represents further development and
prosperity of the city. The flag proportion is 2:3.

The flag of the city of Kazo is already reported, but it was old flag. New one,
from 2010, is also white with new mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Nov 21st 2010 by Notice No 387 and the flag
was adopted on Dec 6th 2010 by Notice No 405. The white flag has a green, a
blue, an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is
a stylized kanji 加 Ka of Kazo. The four arcs symbolize the former one city and
three towns. The green color stands for a field, the blue color for an abandunt
river, the orange color for great cultural assets of the city, the circle
for a development and a prosperity of the city. It represents an image of the
citizen who does well and lives vividly. The flag proportion is 2:3. The height
of the emblem is 3/5 of the height of the flag.
