The town emblem was adopted on Feb 11th 1975 by Notice No 3 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 小川 Ogawa in a form of a rolling paper which symbolizes a local speciality product. The kanji 川 symbolizes a concord and a peace of the town people in a form of fresh streams. It represents a strong surge and a development.
