The town emblem was adopted on Mar 13th 1978 by Notice No 3 and the flag was adopted on Mar 14th 1979. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ヨコ Yoko of Yokoze. It represents a peace and a cooperation of the mutual villagers and an unlimited surge and a development of the village. The flag proportion is 2:3.
