The town emblem was adopted on Sep 1st 1968 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana み Mi of Mihama. The upper half circle symbolizes the people’s wish for peace and the fan-shape does a limitless development of the town.
