The town emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green and orange two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana タキ Taki. The green color stands for abandunt earth and nature, orange color for the people’s vigor, history and culture. It represents an image of spiritually rich town with nature and industry well balanced.
