The town emblem was adopted on May 6th 1965 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana キ Ki of Tamaki and kanji 玉 Tama in circle which symbolizes peace. The four edges of the hoko spear found from a Tamaru castle ruin symbolizes the former four towns and villages' merge.
