The village emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1974 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized HY of HigashiYoshino. The circle stands for a development of the village and a concord of the villagers and the inside for a Yoshino cedar, a cypress and a fresh stream.
