The town emblem was adopted on Jul 30th 1970 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem towards the hoist. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ヒ Hi of Hisayama. It represents the town people’s reconciliation and solidarity and the town which unlimitedly makes a leap forward.
