The prefecture emblem was adopted on May 10th 1966 by Notice No 342 but there
is no flag law. The prefecture blue flag has a white emblem in the center. The
emblem is stylized hiragana ふく Fuku of Fukuoka in a prefecture flower plum.

Another prefectural flag is the flag of Traffic Safety.
The only information I can pull from the text is that it
was adopted in Showa 37 (1962). The flag is a mixture of 7 green and white bars,
with a yellow cross in the middle. It can be seen on the
Prefectural
website.
