The town emblem was adopted in Jan 1959 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red and a green two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 大木 Oki. The red circle symbolizes the sun’s affection and ambition, the white inner circle does the moon’s pureness and goodness and the center green tree does the town’s soaring hope and progress.
