The town emblem was adopted in Nov 1975 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana さ Sa of Sasaguri. The triangle symbolizes Mt.Wakasugi, Mt.Hokotate and Mt.Komeno. As a whole, it represents the town which is expanding in four directions for further development.
