The town emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 1973 by Notice No 20 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana す Su of Sue in a form of a flying bird. The circle symbolizes an exponential improvement of the nature and the industrial culture. It represents the image of the welfare town blessed with the sun, green trees and water and the town people who is bound by friendship.
