The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 1st 2006 by Notice No 1 and No 2. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 水 Mi of nagoMi. The town emblem depicts the fresh stream and the earth. It represents an image of the town blessed by the nature.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The diameter of the emblem is 2/3 height of the flag. Nagomi town general affairs section says they use only blue flag with a white town emblem as per the flag law. Please use this blue shade (Takahama town flag).
