The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Aug 24th 1987 by Notice No 29 and No 30. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana つ Tsu. The emblem depicts the town flower azalea.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The diameter of the emblem is 3/5 height of the flag.
