The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Jun 1st 1986 by Regulation No 1. The maroon flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana タ Ta of Taragi. It represents the town people’s reconciliation, solidarity and unlimited surge.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The diameter of the emblem is 45/70 height of the flag.
