The town emblem was adopted on Mar 31st 1984 and the flag was adopted on Jan 1st 1990. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ツ Tsu of Tsunagi in a form of a flying bird. It represents a reconciliation, a solidarity and the town’s exponential development. The flag proportion is 2: 3.
