On a yellow field over a black-red-black fess the arms of
Lazdijai: a moose and three crossed keys. Flag proportions 10:11,
free edges bordered with a narrow golden stripe, finial is a
golden tip with openwork of three crossed keys and golden bands,
staff is black. The arms granted in 1597 should symbolize the
rich local nature and crossing trade routes from Lithuania,
Poland and Prussia.
