Coat of Arms

[COA of Skedsmo]

The blazon is: På rød bunn tre sølv hestehoder i skrå rekke. In English that would be: Gules three horse heads argent in bend.
The arms were approved by the royal resolution on 4 October 1974 after a drawing by Finn Fagerli.
From [c2j87] this is a canting arms as the old Norse word skeiðismór (from which the town name originates) means a horse-racing field.
