Blazon: På blå grunn eit avrive sølv geitebukkhovud. In English: Azure a goat buck's head erased argnet.
Approved by the royal resolution fo 22 May 1987 after a drawing by Inge Rotevatn.

"The area is well known for its goat cheeses and goat farming. A goat was thus considered an appropriate symbol for the municipality."
